Nolo Law Centers - this is a consumer oriented site by Nolo Press.  Go here if you are looking for legal information about personal matters, including marriage and divorce, living together, wills and trusts, residential real estate, and so forth.

Federal Law

Internet Law Library - this is one of the new homes of what was formerly the U.S. House of Representatives' Internet Law Library. This is a great resource for researching federal law.

Thomas - Legislative Information on the Internet - this is a terrific site for obtaining information about federal legislation.

Federal Register - the The Federal Register is the official daily publication for Rules, Proposed Rules, and Notices of Federal agencies and organizations, as well as Executive Orders and other Presidential Documents.  This site gives you access to the Federal Register from 1995 to the present.

Federal Bulletin Board On-Line Access via GPO - the Federal Bulletin Board Online is a free electronic bulletin board service of the Superintendent of Documents, U.S. Government Printing Office (GPO).

U.S. House of Representatives - if you want to contact your representative to comment on a pending bill, start here.

U.S. Senate - if you want to contact your senator to comment on a pending bill, start here.
